01Our story
Costco Wholesale India Private Limited is the Global Capability Center for Costco Wholesale Corporation — the design, build, and operate engine for the technology and operations that serve Costco's warehouses, e-commerce, and members worldwide. Announced publicly in 2025, we're scaling from Hyderabad with one operating mandate: bring the same quality-at-lowest-cost discipline that has defined Costco for over forty years to the systems and processes that power it.

The law is irrefutable. We conduct our work in total compliance with the laws and regulations of every community in which we operate — workplace safety, fair employment, anti-bribery, quality standards, and data protection (including India's DPDP Act, 2023, and the EU's GDPR for member data we handle on behalf of Costco worldwide). Integrity is the floor, not the ceiling: no deadline, deal, or shortcut is worth compromising it.

Joined Costco in 1982 as a forklift driver at Price Club; appointed CEO in January 2024 as the company's third chief executive.
